On March 22, 2023, CRIF was invited by the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) to share its view and experience in a seminar with focus on European Regulation and how to boost cross border Supply Chain.
In recent years, in Hong Kong the government and the industry have actively promoted the sustainable development of Hong Kong's business community. Hence more and more companies have started to consider how to implement different measures in their companies to achieve sustainable development and enhance their competitiveness.
CMA is one of the non-profit making industrial organisations in Hong Kong to promote ESG. It has held several seminars in the past few years to introduce ESG and it has recently engaged in multiple ESG programme and initiative for its members. Calvin Ho, General Manager of CRIF Hong Kong, explained the European ESG regulatory framework with focus on the most recent Directive impacting Supply Chain and market players alike. He also showcased Synesgy, a global digital platform for ESG sustainability assessment, and how it can support companies in achieving their sustainable development goals.
The seminar received an overwhelming response, and the members were very interested in the topics shared.
